Ride with your group.

Problem.

Uber has revolutionized the transportation industry by offering a convenient and reliable way for people to get around. While the service has been successful, there is still a gap in the market for users who need to travel in groups. Many times, users have to request multiple Uber rides to accommodate everyone in their group, which can be time-consuming and inefficient. To address this issue, I propose the addition of a "Ride with Group" feature to Uber, which will allow users to book multiple Uber rides at the same time for their group.

Solution.

The "Ride with Group" feature would be a new option in the Uber app that would allow users to select how many people they need to accommodate in their group. Once the number of riders is selected, the app would prompt the user to enter their destination and select the type of Uber service they prefer. The app would then show the user the estimated cost of the ride, along with the option to split the cost evenly among the riders in the group.

Once the booking is confirmed, the app would match the riders with multiple Uber drivers who are available and nearby, and ensure that each driver has the capacity to transport the appropriate number of riders. The riders would receive notifications and updates about the status of their ride, and the app would provide real-time tracking of all the vehicles to ensure that the group stays together.

Here’s the prototype.

The "Ride with Group" feature will enhance the Uber experience for users and provide a unique solution to the problem of group transportation. I am confident that this new feature will be well-received by the market and become a key selling point for Uber.
